I have Overcome

John 16:33 (KJV)
“…In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

How could Jesus say he had overcome the world, yet he had not yet gone to the cross?? He had not died or risen! How could he utter such a powerful statement⁉

Simple, he was a man of faith! There are many people you can look at as examples of FAITH-filled lifestyles. Eg Abraham, Elijah, David, Moses etc….but the ultimate and best example is our Lord Jesus himself‼

He didn’t wait for the resurrection day for him to know he had overcome the world, he had the EVIDENCE of faith in him! He KNEW he had overcome the world!

When do you know you have won a battle?? When do you shout in victory??? When do you give testimonies of praise? After you get the crown? After you see the results? After you get the job? THERE IS A MORE EXCELLENT WAY!!!!!

Just like Jesus, confess victory before the battle! Understand that Jesus made this confession JUST BEFORE HIS ARREST! WOW! It was at the beginning of his toughest experience, that he called himself an OVER COMER‼‼

Friend, what battle are you facing today? Confess you’re an over comer today! Before you SEE the cash/ job/ position with your physical eyes, say ” I have overcome!!!”

“I will not overcome premarital sex when I get married, I have already overcome! I know‼” – Overcome before you SEE the victory!

Keep maintaining overcoming confessions.

When the battle is still brewing, when the victory seems far ahead, confess and say…”I HAVE OVERCOME!” Amen!

CONFESSION

Thank you Jesus that I can confidently say, I have overcome. Because you have already won the victory, I can say with faith, that I am an overcomer! Amen!
