In the Details
The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.
Psalm 37:23 NLT
Big decisions are very important, but we move in the small decisions. It is steps that are directed, not jumps. Because God is great, we can be tempted to only involve Him in the big decisions. However, we are reminded today that He delights (greatly pleased) in every detail of our lives. Every detail? Yeap! God wants to be involved in the details. Clothes, hair, chats, dates, assignments, work targets, feelings…even in the amount of sugar you take. Why?
- Accuracy is actually alignment in details. The more correct something is in its details, the more accurate it is.
- Relationships are built in details. The more you involve someone in details, the closer you become. Involving God in the details build your intimacy with Him
Take sometime today and talk to God about the simplest details of your life; you will be surprised just how much interested He is to step in and walk with you.
Prayer: Oh Lord, thank you being interested in my details. Today, I ask you to show me what to do about __________________. Help me to break free from ___________________ I receive your wisdom today in Jesus Name
